Bag Over Shoulder

  • Exercise name: Bag Over Shoulder

  • Exercise description:

    • To perform a weight bag over shoulder, follow these steps:

    • Position the Sandbag: Place the sandbag on the floor between your legs and stand behind it.

    • Squat and Pick Up: Squat down and pick up the sandbag from either side, wrapping your arms around it if necessary for a better grip.

    • Lift the Sandbag: Brace your core and lift the sandbag off the ground, keeping it close to your body.

    • Shoulder Toss: Lift the sandbag onto one shoulder and throw it over your shoulder onto the floor. Turn around and repeat the movement on the other side.

  • Technique that must be performed to count: Bag must clearly go over the shoulder.

  • # of repetitions before shooting: 2

  • Casual division modifier: Lighter bag.

  • Exercise equipment needed: Weight bags or balls
