Scoring and Ranking

Scoring

  • Every portion and station of OSS will be scored separately.

    • Most of the stations will be performance scored on how many reps were completed within the allotted time. AMRAP = stage score.

    • Occasionally, there will be time + penalty scored stations.

    • All station scores will be combined to equal your cumulative final competition score.

  • If there is an event score tie, the fastest morning run time (or other preannounced exercise) will be the tie breaker.

Ranking

  • Operator Syndicate Series uses the 100-point standard adjusted score ranking system for individual stages and overall events.

    • This means the athlete with the highest raw score automatically received 100 points.

    • All other raw scores are adjusted based on a percentage of the highest score.

  • Your best 3 out of 4 OSS challenges will be used to determine your season ranking.

    • We do this in case you have a bad day or couldn’t make all 4 challenges.

  • Top athletes from each division and class will be selected for the season finale.

  • The season finale uses a weighted 200-point ranking system.

    • Double the points allows for “comebacks” to be achieved during the finale.

  • Your best 3 out of 4 OSS challenge scores + season finale score = overall season score.
