Exercise name: Bent-Over Rows (Single-Arm)
Exercise description:
To perform a single-arm bent-over row effectively, follow these steps:
Set Up: Place a single dumbbell on the floor and stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, slightly bending your knees. Keep your back straight and engage your core.
Grasp the Dumbbell: With your palm facing inward, reach down and grab the dumbbell. Ensure you have a comfortable grip, and avoid using a weight that is too heavy or too light.
Initiate the Row: As you exhale, pull the dumbbell towards your torso, driving your elbow straight up. Focus on squeezing your shoulder blade back and down while keeping your core engaged.
Lower and Repeat: Inhale as you slowly lower the dumbbell back down, extending your arm fully. Repeat the exercise for the desired number of reps, then switch arms.
Technique that must be performed to count: Propper form, lean forward at a 45 degree angle! Must start with arm fully extended. Rowing hand must reach the side of your chest.
# of repetitions before shooting: 5 single arm row. I handed shooting, with same arm as row.
Casual division modifier: Lighter weight.
Exercise equipment needed: Ammo cans, large, medium, and small, dumbbell, kettlebell.
