Box Jump

  • Exercise name: Box Jump

  • Exercise description:

    • Positioning: Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, slightly bent knees, and arms stretched backward. Swing your arms forward to generate momentum.

    • Jumping: Jump onto the box with both feet, using the momentum from your arms to propel yourself into the air.

    • Landing: Land softly with both feet on the box, bending your knees slightly to absorb the impact. Avoid straightening your legs immediately after landing.

    • Step Down: Carefully step down from the box to prevent injury and maintain balance.

  • Technique that must be performed to count: Both feet must land on top of the box at the same time (jump, not step)

  • # of repetitions before shooting: 3-5

  • Casual division modifier: shorter side of the box

  • Exercise equipment needed: 1 multi sized box.
