Sandbag Clean

  • Exercise/task name: Sandbag Clean

  • Exercise description:

    • Start Position: Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, knees bent, and core engaged. Grab the sandbag handles with an overhand grip and arms fully straight.

    • Lift the Sandbag: Hinge at the hips and explosively extend your hips and knees to lift the sandbag to shoulder level.

    • Catch the Sandbag: Catch the sandbag with elbows high and the bag resting against the chest.

    • Lower the Sandbag: Control the descent and lower the sandbag back to the ground.

  • Technique that must be performed to count: Bag must start by touching the ground. The bag must reach shoulder level when lifting up.

  • # of repetitions before shooting: 3

  • Casual division modifier: Medium/Small bag

  • Exercise equipment needed: 80n lbs, 60, lbs, 40 lbs, weight bags.
