Lamb Carry

  • Exercise name: Lamb Carry

  • Exercise description:

    • Setup and Stance

      • Place the Bulgarian bag on the floor next to one of your feet.

      • Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart to create a stable base.

      • Hinge at your hips and keep your chest facing the bag.

      • Grip the strap handles securely by placing your thumbs into the strap creases.

    • The Swing and Catch

      • Explosively swing the bag up and across the front of your body using momentum.

      • Shift your body weight to the opposite leg as you swing.

      • Whip your leading arm up and over the back of your head to guide the bag.

      • Catch and rest the bag softly across the top of your back shoulders with your elbows pointing forward.

    • The Walk

      • Walk naturally with bag resting on shoulders while maintaining a handgrip on the handles.

  • Technique that must be performed to count: Must remain on shoulders for the entire duration of the walk.

  • # of repetitions before shooting: 150 ft carry.

  • Casual division modifier: less weight or shorter distance.

  • Exercise equipment needed: Bulgarian bag, or weighted sand bag.
