Equipment Needed
Ammo Round Count
Pistol, 3 mags, and 42 rounds.
Carbine w/ sling, 4 mags, and 54 rounds.
Kettlebell (or similar object):
Operator, Merc, Gray (Hardcore): 44 lbs.
Merc, Gray (Casual): 35 lbs.
Femme Fatale (Hardcore): 35 lbs.
Femme Fatale (Casual): 26 lbs.
Targets: OSS paper targets.
x4 sheets of 1.5 inch squares target.
x3 OSS A-Zone body box targets.
x3 IPSC’s
Tape measure, stapler, tacks, target backer, stand, etc.
Shot timer, stop watch, etc.
Video Recorder
Non-Scored Station.
Before starting mini challenge Station 1, go for a light 1.5 mile jog.
After completing Station 3, go for a 4 mile ruck.
Station #1 -
1 Arm OH Press & 1 Arm Bent Over Row.
Exercise equipment needed: 1 Kettlebell
Distance:
Hardcore: 7 yards.
Casual: 5 Yards
Target: 6 OSS 1.5 inch squares targets. Arrange 3 targets on left side, and 3 targets on the right so you can compare sides later.
Weapon and ammo: 3 magazines of 10 rounds each. 30 Rounds total.
Shooing position: Standing, unsupported.
Description:
Load pistol and holster.
On the beep of your shot timer:
Perform 5 overhead presses with kettlebell with your right arm. immediately followed by 10 bent over rows with same kettlebell with right arm. Drop the kettlebell in place.
Using your right arm/hand only engage 5 squares with 1 round each with pistol standing unsupported on the right side targets..
Perform 5 overhead presses with kettlebell with your left arm. immediately followed by 10 bent over rows with same kettlebell with left arm. Drop the kettlebell in place.
Using your left arm/hand only engage 5 squares with 1 round each with pistol standing unsupported on the left side targets..
Repeat for a total of 6 sets (3 sets each arm) and a total of 20 shots fired.
Reload from mag pouches as needed.
Record time on your last shot.
Add a 5 second penalty for every shot not touching a 1.5 inch square target..
Station #2 -
2 Handed KB Swings & 2 Handed KB RDL
Exercise equipment needed: 1 Kettlebell
Distance: 25 yards.
Target: 3 OSS A-Zone targets placed a minimum of 25 feet apart to force target transitions.
Weapon and ammo: Carbine with 3 magazine of 10 rounds each. 30 rounds total.
Shooting position: Kneeling, unsupported.
Description:
Leave loaded carbine on the ground (or table) next to exercise area on the 25 yard line.
On the beep of your shot timer:
Perform 10 2 handed kettlebell swings then immediately followed by 10 2 handed kettlebell Romanian Dead Lifts.
Drop kettlebell. Then engage each target with 2 round each from the standing or kneeling (shooters choice) unsupported position.
Place loaded carbine on ground or table.
Repeat for a total of 5 sets of 10 KB swings + 10 KB RDL’s and 30 fired shots.
Reload from mag pouches as needed.
Record time on your last shot.
Add a 5 second penalty for every shot outside the A Zone box.
Station #3 - Goblet Squats
Exercise equipment needed: Kettlebell
Distance:
Hardcore: 15 yards.
Casual: 10 Yards
Target: 3 IPSC targets placed approximately shoulder width apart to force target transitions.
Weapon and ammo: Pistol, with 1 magazine of 12 rounds. Carbine w/ sling, with 4 magazine of 6 rounds each.
Shooting position: Standing, unsupported.
Description:
Load pistol and holster. Then load carbine and let it hang via sling to your side or directly in front of your chest ensuring the safety is on at all times. *You may lay carbine on ground or table if you do not have a sling.
On the beep of your shot timer:
Perform 10 kettlebell Goblet Squats then drop the kettlebell in place.
With your carbine, engage the A-Zone body box of all 3 targets with 2 rounds each. When your carbine goes dry, transition to your pistol and engage the A-Zone head box with 1 round each.
Reload carbine from mag pouch. Ensure it’s on safe.
Repeat the entire drill 3 more times for a total of 40 goblet squats and 36 rounds.
Record time on your last shot.
Add a 5 second penalty for every shot outside the A Zone body and head box.
